Gaza – Saba:
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) stated on Saturday that the visit of U.S. envoy Steven Witkoff to the Gaza Strip is a blatant attempt to cast doubt on the accuracy of humanitarian reports about famine and starvation, as well as an effort to highlight the Trump administration’s fake humanity.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the DFLP questioned the real motives behind Witkoff’s tour in Rafah, where the scene had been staged in advance to portray the behavior of the "guards" from the American "death company" and the enemy’s soldiers in a fabricated humanitarian light—while simultaneously denying the reports of international institutions, particularly the UN, including testimonies from soldiers involved in the killings under the American company.
The Front pointed out that this visit comes at a time when the Gaza Strip is drowning in weapons of destruction, and the fascist Zionist entity’s government is being encouraged to escalate killings and facilitate the mass displacement of Palestinians.
It added that Witkoff’s visit, under the pretext of inspecting the conditions of Gaza’s residents and verifying reports of famine and starvation among Palestinian children, women, elderly, and the sick—as well as the suffering of the Palestinian people—is not a "tourist spectacle" for the White House envoy to observe. Rather, it is one of the major crimes committed by the occupation forces and their American partner.
The DFLP noted that this visit follows the militarization of aid by this alliance, turning it into a trap for Gaza’s residents at the hands of Zionist enemy soldiers and the "guards" of the American-Israeli company, disguised as Gaza’s food supply.
The Front considered the statement by the U.S. ambassador to the Israeli entity, claiming that the American "death company" distributes one million meals daily in Gaza, a scandal that exposes his addiction to lies, fabrications, and denial of facts.
It viewed this statement as a disappointing sign, foretelling that the aid prepared by the U.S. administration—following the American president’s call—will only be an attempt to cover up the brutality and criminal objectives of the Zionist enemy.
The DFLP emphasized that "the only viable solution to save our people from death by killing or starvation is the immediate cessation of all hostile actions by the Zionist enemy forces, their complete withdrawal from every inch of Gaza, and allowing our people to determine their own fate under the banner of their national program for freedom, independence, and the right of return."
