SANA'A March 26. 2023 (Saba)- The Ministry of Human Rights denounced the repressive and brutal practices of the French authorities against peaceful, unarmed demonstrators, the excessive use of force and the deprivation of demonstrators of their legitimate rights and just demands.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the ministry stressed the importance of the French authorities respecting human rights, including the right to demonstrate, responding to the demands of the French people and respecting their will.
It called on international humanitarian bodies to condemn the acts of violence committed by the French authorities, which violate international humanitarian principles and conventions, and expose the falsity of the French regime and its claims to respect human rights.
The ministry also called for international pressure to ensure the effective exercise of freedoms in France, by protecting peaceful demonstrators and journalists covering these demonstrations from the violence of the security authorities.
