GAZA March 20. 2023 (Saba) - Political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement leader Khalil al-Hayya has said that Hamas is in a continuous daily confrontation with the Zionist enemy, and the force charged with deterring it is ready and at the signal.
Head of Arab and Islamic Relations Bureau al-Hayya added in the interview program on Qatari Al-Jazeera channel last night "The more the enemy unleashes the hand of settlers against our people, the closer the confrontation and the more likely it becomes."
Al-Hayya explained that the resistance is rising with its organized, joint and cohesive action in confronting the Zionist enemy as in Nablus, Jenin and Jericho.
He expressed regret over the unpatriotic role of the Palestinian Authority. He said "This is regrettable and condemnable, but we do not condemn the honorable sons of the security services who are part of the resistance of the Palestinian people."
He went on saying "Hamas does not interfere in the affairs of others, and this is the reason for its success throughout its history, and the motive for our exit from Syria was to distance ourselves from internal problems, and the decision at the time was right."
Al-Hayya said "No one asked us to restore the relationship with Syria, and our motive for that is to serve the resistance project in light of the regional developments, and our return to it is unconditional."
He added "Hamas' presence in Syria achieves many benefits, which is the presence in the heart of the Palestinian people in the camps and the restoration of consideration for Hamas's reconciled entity with all the Arab and Islamic, official and unofficial, and the restoration of consideration for what can be provided from the land of Syria in terms of support in a program of resistance, in addition to direct work with the Palestinian factions from the heart of Damascus.
He continued on saying "If Hamas wants to arrange its relations with countries and entities according to their inter-relationships, it will quarrel with most of the nation, and therefore our doctrine is non-interference in internal affairs, and our relations with countries warm and cool with the extent of their proximity and distance from Palestine."
Al-Haya reiterated that Hamas' relations with Egypt are good and have a positive role in alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people. "We accumulate and strengthen them continuously, and we do not interfere in their relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood according to our aforementioned political doctrine," he said.
He pointed out that Hamas seeks to develop relations with all Arab and Islamic countries, which is not the reason for the cessation or cooling of any relations with any Arab country. "The decline in our relation with Saudi Arabia is not the reason for it, and it decides its relation with others, and our hands are extended to it at any time," he said.
He noted that Qatar has taken it upon itself to continue its support for the Palestinian people, and what Qatar offers to Palestine will be written in the pages of history.
Al-Hayya concluded on saying "Our relation with Iran is related to its great support for the resistance politically and militarily, and there is no disagreement between the Hamas leadership at home and abroad on the necessity and importance of the relation with Iran because of the military and political support it provide to us, but there are those who fish in troubled waters, calling on supporting the Palestinian resistance in order to weaken and eliminate the Zionist enemy.
