TEHRAN March 07. 2023 (Saba) - Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian renewed his country's commitment to the Palestinian cause, stressing that Tehran supports peace in the region and opposes wars.
“Iran is committed to the path of political independence and balanced relations with the West and the East, and within the framework of preserving the interests of its people,” Abdullahian said, in a statement carried by the Syrian News Agency, SANA.
He made it clear that his country is on the right track in foreign diplomacy and in defending Iran's sovereignty.
Regarding the Vienna negotiations, Abdollahian indicated that if America respects Iran's red lines and takes care of Iran's national interests, Tehran will not leave the negotiating table, as it proved this in the most difficult times of the recent strife that the country faced.
