MA'RIB February 28. 2023 (Saba)- Meeting in Sana'a discussed the interventions of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs "OCHA" in Ma'rib province.
The meeting, which included the branch director of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation in the province, Saleh Al-Sharif, and the deputy director of the OCHA office in Yemen, " Maria Rosaria Bruno," reviewed OCHA's interventions in a number of sectors to alleviate the suffering of citizens as a result of the aggression.
The director of the Humanitarian Affairs Council branch stressed the need to expand the partners' activities in the province to cover the gap in need in all sectors.
He pointed out the importance of giving priority to projects that are raised as emergency needs, extending the period of currently implemented projects, expanding road, health and food security projects in the most affected districts.
While Bruno explained that Marib province will receive great attention within the plans and programs of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, as it is one of the provinces most in need.
