SANA'A, Jun. 06 (Saba) - Public Electricity Corporation (PEC) condemned on Sunday the detention of the aggression coalition of the Arc Bauer ship loaded with Mazot for the Ras Katnib electric plant.
Public Electricity Corporation said in a statement to Saba that the Mazot vessel had been denied access to the port of Hodeida to unload fuel for the Ras Katnaib station, which was about to cease operation due to the fuel running out.
The delayed arrival of fuel would cause power outages and worsen the humanitarian situation of citizens in the port city, which was experiencing a sharp rise in temperature.
The statement held the states of the aggression coalition of fully responsible for the lives of citizens in coastal areas, particularly in the face of severe hot spells.
He called on the United Nations and the Security Council to assume legal, moral and humanitarian responsibility for those barbaric actions and to stop them.
The statement appealed to the international community, human and human rights organizations, and the world's freedom to take responsibility and work to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, especially the citizens of the city of Hodeida.
