SANA'A, Jun. 05 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, met on Sunday with head of the General Authority for Lands, Surveys and Urban Planning, Dr. Hashem al-Shami.
During the meeting, al-Mashat and al-Shami discussed the progress of work in the authority and what has been accomplished in the project of the national urban development strategy in the Republic of Yemen.
They touched upon the efforts made to enhance coordination with the relevant authorities to solve urban planning problems in a way that contributes to achieving development requirements.
President al-Mashat stressed the need to pay attention to urban planning "Master Plan", and to prevent irregularities by making plans to package irregularities and not allow them to spread.
He pointed to the importance of cooperation with the Authority in the field of maintaining the state lands and real estate and protecting them from attackers.
