SANAA, May 22 (Saba) - Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi renewed his offer the Saudi regime to free the Palestinians kidnapped in Saudi jails.
Sayyed al-Houthi stressed the readiness to raise the ceiling of the swap to include additional another Saudi pilot, and five Saudi officers and soldiers.
Sayyed AbdulMalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi said during his speech at Axis of the Resistance Leaders Festival on the occasion of International al-Quds Day, "We advise the Saudi regime to respond to this offer, at least for the sake of its pilots and its captive officers".
He pointed out that the International al-Quds Day is an important occasion that reminds the nation of its responsibility towards its first cause which is the Palestinian issue so as to contribute awareness of the nation's peoples towards the danger of the Israeli project and provide an opportunity for a serious practical movement towards liberating the land of Palestine, the occupied lands, re-taking the religious and holy places, and saving the Palestinian people.
The leader of the revolution renewed the affirmation of the stand up of the Yemeni people alongside the Palestinian people and the freedom of the nation against the usurped Israeli enemy which violated the holy places in Palestine in the forefront of which is al-Aqsa Mosque.
He pointed out that the Yemeni position is a religious, moral and human obligation, and it is the correct, and natural position that every sincere Muslim and every free person must stand alongside the Palestinian issue.
He said, "The Yemeni people clearly announce that they are present alongside the freedom of the nation and the axis of resistance, and with a high ceiling for practical positions on all levels, and with all available options in support of al-Aqsa Mosque, the holy sites and the Palestinian people''.
He denounced the efforts and normalization steps undertaken by others, especially the Saudi regime with the Israeli enemy.
Last March, the leader of the revolution launched an initiative regarding the release of Palestinian detainees of Hamas held in Saudi prisons in exchange for the release of a Saudi pilot and four prisoners of the Saudi army.
