SANA'A, May 04 (Saba)- Industry and Trade Minister Yahya al-Mutawakil said on Sunday that Yemen will ask for Pakistan to give it a special position in importing rice and wheat.
Upon his depatruer to Islamabad to attend the 5th meeting of the Yemeni-Pakistani Joint Ministerial Committee (YPJMC) to be held on 5-6 May, al-Mutawakil said to Saba that he would talk with Pakistani official on means to provide the quantities of rice and wheat needed by Yemen for coming years.
Al-Mutawakil added that three agreements would be signed by the end of the YPJMC meetings in fields of fish and Islamic endowment and guidance and also a special agreement for Yemen news agency (Saba).
The meetings will discuss the cooperation relations between the two countries, particularly in economic fields.
