ANAA, March 4 (Saba) - Undersecretary of Mayor of Municipality of the capital Sanaa Yehia Jameel along with Assistant Undersecretary of Mayor Engineer Abdul Karim al-Houthi inaugurated on Sunday the planting season for the current year by planting a number of trees and planting flowers in the various districts of capital.
This year's planting season, overseen by the Office of Agriculture and Irrigation in the capital Sanaa, includes the planting of more than 84,000 trees and seedlings in the various districts of capital.
In the inauguration, which was held at the district of Bani Harith with the participation of Director of that district Issam Ajlan and Director of the Works Office in the Municipality of capital Abdul Salam al-Jaradi, a number of trees were planted and planted various types of flowers in the streets and neighborhoods of the district.
In the district of Azal, Assistant Undersecretary of capital Municipality Ahsan al-Qadi and Director of Azal district Abdulaziz Shaalan participated in the planting of trees and a group of flower seedlings in the streets of district.

The directors of the districts of Shaab, Tahreer, Maeen and Old Sanaa participated in the cultivation of trees in the various main streets, the central islands and flats in the districts.
The head of the Agriculture Office in the capital Sanaa, Ibrahim Sharaf al-Din, said that more than four thousand trees will be planted, and about 80 thousand seedlings and agricultural flowers in various locations and streets and areas and the central islands of the ten districts in capital, schools and universities and parks.
He pointed out that the planting season is aimed at planting fruit trees in a number of sites, as well as planting trees of berries, walnuts and figs in the Makashems "gardens" of old Sanaa city.
He stressed that the inauguration of the season of afforestation for this year is characterized by the inclusion of fruit trees and varieties of agricultural crops for the first time in a number of public parks, noting the support and efforts of the leadership of the capital Sanaa Municipality in providing the necessary resources for the success of the planting season.
