A recent study conducted by a research team from the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center announced a stunning discovery that could pave the way for new treatments for difficult-to-treat cancers.
The research team found that disrupting the production of ribosomal RNA (rRNA) leads to reprogramming the behavior of cancer cells, opening up promising prospects for treating tumors with unstable genetic mutations, according to Russia Today.
