Areha - Saba:
Settlers stormed the village of Arab al-Malihat, northwest of Jericho, at dawn on Wednesday.
According to the Palestinian SAFA News Agency, Hassan Malihat, general supervisor of the al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, said that the settlers stormed the village in the early hours of the morning without a clear security escort and drove their vehicles between the homes of residents, a provocative move that sparked anxiety and fear among women.
The organization condemned this raid, considering it part of a policy of oppression and intimidation aimed at displacing residents from their lands.
The organization called on the international community to assume its responsibilities regarding the repeated violations against Palestinian Bedouins in rural areas.
This is not the first time that the residents of Arab al-Malihat have been subjected to such raids, which are an extension of systematic attacks on Bedouin communities in the West Bank aimed at emptying them of their indigenous inhabitants.
South of Hebron, armed settlers attacked the homes of citizens in the village of Susiya in the Masafer Yatta area, south of the city, on Wednesday.
The head of the Susiya Village Council, Jihad al-Nawajaa, told the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that a group of armed settlers had been besieging the village for several days and had attacked residents' homes with stones for the second day.
He added that the residents of the village live under constant threat from the settlers and have been forced to leave their jobs and remain in the village to protect their families and property.
The communities and villages of Masafer Yatta have recently witnessed a continuous and significant escalation in settler attacks, including shooting, destruction and damage to fields and agricultural crops, burning homes, stealing sheep, and other attacks. These attacks are part of a policy of forced displacement practiced by the Israeli occupation authorities against the residents of the area.
