SANAA, Jan. 10 (Saba) - The US-Saudi coalition and its mercenaries continue to defy United Nations resolutions and not abide by the agreements signed in Sweden, said Army's spokesman Brig. Yahia Sarie.
He pointed out that the enemy has committed more than 276 violations of the cease-fire in Hodeidah during the past 48 hours.
He said in a statement to the Saba news agency that the mercenaries fired 164 artillery shells and 44 Katyusha rockets towards the homes and farms of citizens and the positions of the army and the popular forces in Hodeidah.
He said that the mercenaries of the aggression carried out an attack towards the southwest of the Mohajar area, south of Hays.
They continued to fire intensively using various medium and light weapons to Mahal Sheikh, to the south of Al-Saffran area , towards the Safina area and areas east of Sharaf village.
He added that the enemy bombed areas in the city, to the east of the ِMilitary airport and towards Sanaa Street, to the east of the area "Aqqd" and on Durahmi.
They also combed heavily using medium and light weapons from around Difaa hilltop, south of the Manasa area and other areas southeast of the city of Shaab.
They conducted sweeps towards the south, east, west of Tahita, west and north of Hess.
The Spokesman explained that the army and the Popular Forces forces spotted the movement of troops, pick-ups belonging to the mercenaries in Biout shalman and other pick-ups carrying militiamen and machine guns from the area of Beit Shalman towards the area of Aljiribah and vice versa.
They also observed their movements from al-Gharibah to Kamran and from the big roundabout towards the village of Man'uf and Tabat Difa.
They also observed the movement of the enemy crews from the west of Aqqad towards the Makhlajah area, to the east of Al-Shaab city, and the movement of militiamen and their pick-ups in Al-Khadid area, southeast and northeast of Al-Shaab city, behind the village of "Mandar" and another movement for the enemy's pick-ups east of the region of Hays in conjunction with the continuation of flying reconnaissance aircraft of the enemy over kilo 16 area, Alttea mountain and Hays and over the sky of the city of Hodeidah.

In response to the escalation of the coalition aggression and their mercenaries, the spokesman said that the heroes of the army, supported by Popular forces, carried out five attacks on mercenary sites, including an offensive operation on the area of Al-Amhour in Jawf, another offensive operation on the east of Jabal Al-Nair towards the area of Al-Tuba Al-Hamra, an offensive operation on the southern part of the Kahera area in Al Ajashir in Jowf and an attack on several Tabab in Mouraba Hammad off Najran.
He noted that the army forces carried out several qualitative operations in the area of Khab and Shaf, in the desert of Al-Ajashr in the Jawf and in Rakabat Marash off Najran, in front of Tabat Shahid in Bayda and two operations in the Nihm area.
He added that the missile force launched of Badr P missiles on mercenaries sites in Midi area.
In addition, two joint operations were carried out between the Air Force and the artillery, targeting enemy groups, a number of their pick-ups, militiamen and their reinforcements behind the Al-Aar area in Qanya in Bayda, while two attack were carried out towards the Black Tub area in Harad and on the Al-Kadhmul area in Jawf.

He added that 8 other mercenaries were shot dead and 20 injured in the area of Qqqp and sniper units gun down a saudi soldier in Meshaal site.
He added that two mercenaries had been sniped off Jabal Qais, two explosive devices set up in Nataa ara exploded causing heavy losses among the enemy's ranks.
