SANA'A, Jan. 24 (Saba) - The Foreign Ministry on Tuesday appreciated efforts made by the United Nations special envoy to Yemen, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, to end the Saudi aggression war and lift all-out blockade on Yemen, particularly the commercial flights to Sana'a airport.

With regard to the forthcoming briefing of Ould Cheikh to the UN Security Council that scheduled for Jan. 26, in New York, the ministry hopes that the UN envoy reflects the real tragic situation in Yemen due to the nearly two-year long Saudi aggression war and all-out blockade.

The ministry also called for immediate stop to the aggression war against the Yemeni people and end the suffering of the Yemeni people that caused by the aggression economical siege.

It called on Ould Cheikh to convey the stance of the Supreme Political Council and the National Salvation Government for achieving a just and comprehensive peace that ends the suffering of all the Yemeni people.
