Sana'a – Saba:
An official meeting was held on Wednesday in Bayda governorate, chaired by governor Abdullah Idris, to discuss preparations and the event plan for the celebration of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday in the first sector districts.
The meeting, which was attended by Deputy Director of Security Brigadier General Taher al-Saqqaf, district directors, security officials, and mobilization leaders from both urban and rural areas of Bayda—along with officials from Mukayras, al-Sawma’ah, al-Zahir, Maswarah, and Dhi Na’im—reviewed the plan to commemorate the religious occasion at the level of villages and sub-districts. It also outlined the roles and responsibilities of field committees tasked with mobilization, organizing events, and managing activities across the districts.
The participants agreed to hold local meetings in villages and sub-districts to organize celebrations that reflect the greatness of the Prophet and the significance of his birth, and to mobilize participation in the central event planned in the Al-Sawadiyah sector.
The meeting also addressed the role of the private sector in supporting the occasion and promoting the values of social solidarity and charitable giving toward the poor and needy.
Governor Idris stressed the importance of thorough preparation for the celebration in a manner befitting the status of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
He emphasized the need for coordination among relevant authorities to implement festive programs, conduct cleaning campaigns, and beautify buildings in anticipation of the blessed event.
The governor also urged everyone to take responsibility in enhancing service and development performance, actively confront the challenges posed by aggression and blockade, and pay special attention to acts of kindness and social solidarity.
