Gaza – Saba:
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced on Thursday that it had destroyed an Israeli army tank with a powerful explosive device in the northern part of Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip.

In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Al-Qassam said:
“Our fighters destroyed a Zionist Merkava tank with a powerful ground explosive device on Tuesday in Al-Qassasib area, north of Jabalia city in the northern Gaza Strip. Our fighters also monitored a helicopter landing for evacuation purposes.”

This operation comes as part of the response by Palestinian resistance factions to the genocide being carried out by the Israeli enemy against the residents of Gaza—crimes that have continued since October 7, 2023, with U.S. support. These crimes include killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, in blatant disregard of international appeals and orders by the International Court of Justice to halt them.
