The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) stated on Thursday evening that the starvation war waged by the Zionist enemy in the Gaza Strip has reached an unbearable level and now poses the gravest threat to the lives of over two million Palestinians.
In a press statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Hamas called on the international community and all concerned parties to act immediately to stop this mass atrocity being committed by the enemy, and to deliver food supplies to the people of Gaza without delay, restrictions, or conditions—while ensuring their protection.
The movement affirmed its readiness to immediately re-engage in negotiations once aid reaches those in need and the humanitarian crisis and famine in Gaza are addressed. It stressed that continuing negotiations while people are being starved strips the process of its meaning and purpose—especially after the criminal Zionist enemy unjustifiably withdrew from talks last week when the parties were on the verge of reaching an agreement.
