Israeli media reported that the administration of US President Donald Trump is seeking to complete a Gaza deal within the next few days, this week, not next week.

The Hebrew channel i24 explained that "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to the White House will begin on Monday, and they want to announce such a deal at the beginning of the visit or during it."

It indicated that the reason for this quick announcement is primarily "to end this thing called Gaza, at least for the time being. Trump has wanted this for a long time, and now, after Iran, it has become possible."
