The death toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 57,268 martyrs and 135,625 injured since October 7, 2023, as of Friday.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza stated in a daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded due to the Israeli aggression—received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA)—that hospitals in the Strip received 138 martyrs and 452 injuries in the past 24 hours.
The report noted that the total number of martyrs and injuries since the resumption of the Zionist aggression on the Strip on March 18 has reached 6,710 martyrs and 23,584 injuries.
Additionally, the ministry reported that hospitals received 62 martyrs and over 300 injuries from the "bread struggle" in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of martyrs from the "aid distribution centers" to 714 martyrs and over 4,837 injuries since the start of operations at these centers on May 27.
The ministry also emphasized that many victims remain trapped under rubble or on the streets, with rescue teams and civil defense unable to reach them.
