Nablus – SABA:
Clashes broke out on Friday evening between Palestinian youths and Israeli settlers in the Qamas area of Beita town, located south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
The confrontations erupted following a settler attack on an agricultural shack in Qamas, near Mount Sabih, a flashpoint area frequently targeted by settler violence.
According to the Palestinian Safa News Agency, local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces fired live bullets and illumination flares during the clashes, which followed the residents’ response to the settler assault.
Earlier on Friday morning, three Palestinians were injured after being physically assaulted by settlers, while eight others suffered from tear gas inhalation when occupation forces attacked the town of Beita.
These incidents are part of an ongoing escalation in the West Bank, where settlers, under the protection of Israeli forces, continue to launch attacks on Palestinian communities amid heightened tensions due to the ongoing war on Gaza.
