Cairo - SABA:
Egyptian football club Zamalek officially announced Friday the signing of Belgian coach Yannick Ferreira as their new head coach for the upcoming season, replacing interim coach Ayman El-Ramady.
The appointment followed negotiations led by Zamalek's sporting director John Edward in coordination with the club's board of directors, with Ferreira selected from among several candidates for the position.
The one-season contract will see Ferreira take charge of the White Knights as they prepare for domestic and continental competitions next season.
Zamalek plans to hold a press conference in coming days to reveal full details of the technical plan and preseason preparations under their new Belgian manager.
Ferreira brings extensive African coaching experience having previously managed clubs in Morocco and Tunisia along with European positions in Belgium and Portugal
