Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) dominated Inter Miami with a resounding 4-0 victory in their Round of 16 match on Sunday evening in the FIFA Club World Cup, currently being held in the United States.
PSG’s goals were scored by João Neves (two goals), an own goal by Thomas Avilés, and Achraf Hakimi in the 6th, 39th, 44th, and 45+3rd minutes, respectively.
With this result, the French team advances to the quarterfinals, where they will face the winner of the match between Bayern Munich and Brazil’s Flamengo. Meanwhile, Inter Miami’s captain, Argentine star Lionel Messi, and his teammates bid farewell to the tournament.
