US State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce stated that the United States considers the possibility of concluding a peace agreement in the Gaza Strip next week "very realistic."
Western media outlets quoted Bruce on Saturday evening, commenting on the possibility of concluding a ceasefire agreement in Gaza next week, as saying: "This is very realistic, and clearly there are a lot of things going on right now."
Tami Bruce emphasized that "there is now an opportunity to release the prisoners held by the Palestinian Hamas movement."
