Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Belarus on Thursday for a two-day visit, during which he will participate in the plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum.
According to Russia Today, the Russian leader has a packed agenda in the Belarusian capital. Today, he will attend the plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum, while tomorrow will see the start of meetings of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council—the governing body of the Eurasian Economic Union.
During the events in Minsk, Putin is expected to meet with the presidents of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Cuba, and Uzbekistan, as well as representatives from the leadership of Mongolia and the United Arab Emirates.
