Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares announced that he will ask the European Union to agree to an immediate suspension of the trade agreement with Israel.

Albares noted, "I will ask the EU foreign ministers today to say no to war and yes to diplomacy."

On Friday, more than 110 human rights and trade union organizations, including Human Rights Watch, called on the European Union to immediately suspend the trade agreement with Israel, in protest against the escalating crimes committed against Palestinians and the occupying entity's refusal to comply with orders from the International Court of Justice.
