Director General of the Crisis Management Office in the Central Province of Iran Morteza Miri announced on Thursday that the Zionist airstrike on Khandab heavy water complex did not result in any casualties, material leakage, or environmental pollution.
The Iranian Mehr News Agency quoted Miri as saying, "In light of the emptying of the complex and the precautionary measures taken in advance, the Zionist regime's attack on the Khandab complex did not result in any material leakage, and there is no danger threatening the residents of this area."
He added, "The Zionist attack also did not result in any casualties or injuries."
The Khandab heavy water complex was subjected to an airstrike by the Zionist regime at 6:00 a.m. Tehran time on Thursday, while attacks on nuclear facilities are prohibited under international treaties.
