Bayda - Saba:
The residents of Qarn Al-Asad in Al-Arsh District, Al-Bayda province, celebrated on Thursday the 15th annual massive wedding for 58 brides and grooms, organized by the local community.
The event, attended by both officials and local residents, saw Tawfiq Al-Juraidi, head of the organizing committee, congratulating the newlyweds on their marriage and the completion of "half their faith." He noted that the 15th mass wedding reflects a social tradition aimed at alleviating the financial burdens on young people.
Al-Juraidi emphasized the importance of collective weddings in promoting solidarity and reducing the costs associated with individual weddings. He praised the community of Qarn Al-Asad for embracing massive weddings and curbing excessive dowries.
For his part, groom Yusuf Al-Amri, speaking on behalf of the couples, expressed his gratitude to the organizing committee for their efforts in making this distinctive event a success.
