Tulkarm - Saba:
Since Tuesday morning, Israeli bulldozers have continued to demolish more residential buildings in Tulkarm camp for the 12th consecutive day, as part of the ongoing Zionist aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its camp, which has now reached its 142nd day, and on the 129th day on the Nour Shams camp.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), Israeli bulldozers today demolished homes in the neighborhoods of Balawneh, Akasha, Al-Nadi, and Al-Sawalmeh, and their surroundings in Tulkarm refugee camp, razing these buildings to the ground.
The report stated that the demolition operation is part of the Israeli plan to demolish 106 buildings in Tulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps. These include 58 buildings in Tulkarm refugee camp alone, comprising more than 250 housing units and dozens of commercial establishments, and 48 buildings in Nour Shams, under the pretext of opening roads and changing the geographical features of the two camps.
Israeli forces continue to impose a tight siege on Tulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps and their surroundings. Infantry units and vehicles are deployed in alleys, neighborhoods, and entrances, preventing residents from reaching their homes to inspect them or retrieve their belongings, and firing directly at anyone who attempts to approach.
This morning, Ziad Shukri Al-Jallad, a 55-year-old disabled citizen from Tulkarm, was shot in the foot by the enemy while he was in one of the city's neighborhoods.
The city is witnessing intense activity by enemy vehicles around the clock, specifically in the central market, on the street leading to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital, Nablus Street, and the northern neighborhood. These vehicles deliberately obstruct the movement of citizens and vehicles, provocatively sounding their horns and driving against traffic, endangering the lives of citizens.
This escalation is accompanied by increased military measures at the checkpoints surrounding Tulkarm. The enemy has set up surprise checkpoints around the Jabara Bridge gate at the southern entrance to the city and the Anab military checkpoint to the east. Vehicles are stopped and searched, passengers are subjected to searches and interrogations, traffic is deliberately obstructed, and in many cases, traffic is prevented from passing.
Israeli forces continue to transform Nablus Street into military barracks, continuing their seizure of several residential buildings there, along with parts of the city's northern neighborhood, specifically those facing Tulkarm refugee camp. They forcibly evacuated residents, some of whom have been under Israeli control for more than four months. They have also deployed heavy machinery and bulldozers in the vicinity.
