Gaza - Saba:
The Nuseirat Municipality in Central Gaza Strip announced on Sunday a complete halt to its essential services, effective tomorrow morning.
In a brief statement, the municipality explained that the announcement came after the fuel needed to operate water wells, sewage treatment plants, and waste collection and transportation vehicles ran out.
The municipality warned of potentially catastrophic consequences resulting from the halt in services, in addition to fears of health hazards threatening the lives of residents.
The municipality issued an urgent appeal to the international community and humanitarian and human rights organizations to assume their responsibilities.
