US President Donald Trump warned Iran on Sunday against launching an attack on American entities.
"American forces will respond with unprecedented force if attacked," Trump said in a post on his Truth Social account, according to the Russian news agency Sputnik.
He added: "If we are attacked by Iran in any way, shape, or form, the maximum power and might of the United States Armed Forces will be unleashed upon you at levels you have never seen before."
He added: "However, we can easily make a deal between Iran and Israel to end this bloody conflict."
Trump reiterated his assertion that the United States had nothing to do with the Israeli attack on Iran.
In response to the Israeli airstrikes against Iranian targets, Iran announced the launch of Operation True Promise 3, which included the bombing of Tel Aviv with hundreds of missiles.
Circular footage showed scenes of destruction described by some reports as unprecedented in Tel Aviv.
