Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan asserted that Israeli seeks to drag the entire region into fire.
In a phone call with his Iranian counterpart, Masoud Pezeshkian, Erdogan strongly condemned "the illegal Israeli attacks on Iran."
According to a statement issued by the Turkish Presidency's Communications Directorate, the two leaders discussed the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran and regional and international issues.
Erdogan offered his condolences to the Iranian people for the casualties caused by the Israeli aggression.
He described the Israeli attacks as a flagrant violation of international law, stating that their goal is to drag the entire region into a cycle of fire.
He stated that Netanyahu is trying to sabotage the nuclear negotiations process through these attacks.
Erdogan asserted that Israel is trying to distract the world from the genocide in Gaza through its attacks on Iran.
He noted that Turkey is closely monitoring developments related to the possibility of a nuclear leak at the Natanz facility, emphasizing that the only solution to the nuclear conflict is a diplomatic process.
