Iran announced on Sunday that it will deal "firmly and decisively" with traitorous and infiltrating elements collaborating with the "Zionist enemy."
According to Iran's Mehr News Agency, Minister of Security Hojjatoleslam Seyed Ismail Khatib stated that the ministry would take a strict approach against the "small number of traitorous and infiltrating elements cooperating with the enemy."
Mehr reported that Khatib made these remarks during a government meeting, where he also "condemned the Zionist aggression against residential areas in Iran."
The minister added, "The infiltrators and traitors are few in number and will face relentless and firm pursuit by security agencies."
This comes after the Zionist enemy launched an attack on Iran last Friday, targeting Iranian nuclear facilities and military infrastructure, which resulted in the martyrdom of prominent military and security leaders as well as several nuclear scientists.
