Tulkarm – Saba:

Israeli enemy forces continued their aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its camp on Friday for the 138th consecutive day, and for the 125th day in the Nur Shams camp, amid widespread escalation and ongoing home demolitions.

The official Palestinian News Agency reported that enemy bulldozers continued to demolish residential buildings in the center of Tulkarm camp for the eighth consecutive day, implementing a plan to demolish 106 buildings in both Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps.

These include 58 buildings in Tulkarm camp alone, specifically in the Balawneh and Al-Akasha neighborhoods and their surroundings, in addition to the Al-Nadi neighborhood, which includes more than 250 homes and dozens of commercial establishments.

The agency stated that the Israeli enemy continues to impose a tight siege on the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps and their surroundings.

Infantry squads are deployed in the alleys, neighborhoods, and entrances, preventing residents from reaching their homes to check on them or retrieve their belongings, while opening fire directly at anyone who attempts to approach.

Over the past few days, Nur Shams camp has witnessed continuous demolitions of residential buildings, resulting in the demolition of more than 20 buildings. This is part of the enemy's plan to demolish 48 buildings in Nur Shams, under the pretext of clearing roads and changing the geographical features of the two camps.

Enemy forces continue to transform Nablus Street into military barracks by continuing to seize a number of residential buildings there, along with parts of the northern neighborhood of the city, specifically those facing Tulkarm camp, after forcibly evacuating their residents.

Some of these buildings have been under enemy control for more than four months, including the homes of Faratawi and Younis families, which were burned last night by enemy soldiers, accompanied by the deployment of heavy machinery and bulldozers in the surrounding area.

Nablus Street, which connects the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps, has also suffered extensive damage due to the earth mounds placed by Israeli forces several months ago. This is compounded by a heavy Israeli presence, which erects flying and surprise checkpoints, impeding vehicle movement and increasing the suffering of citizens.

In addition, the city and its suburbs are witnessing intense activity by Israeli vehicles and infantry units, patrolling the main streets and neighborhoods, deliberately obstructing the movement of citizens and vehicles, provocatively sounding their horns and driving against traffic.

This morning, Israeli enemy forces closed the eastern and southern entrances to the city by closing the iron gates of Anab military checkpoint and Jabara Bridge. They tightened their security measures at these checkpoints, preventing vehicles from passing.

This ongoing aggression has so far resulted in the deaths of 13 Palestinian citizens, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens of injuries and arrests have also been reported, along with widespread destruction of infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles.

According to the latest data, the escalation has displaced more than 5,000 families from the two camps, representing over 25,000 citizens.

At least 400 homes have been completely destroyed, and 2,573 others have been partially damaged. The entrances to the two camps remain blocked with barricades, transforming them into almost lifeless areas.
