The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Wednesday that the death toll from the genocidal crime by the Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip has risen to 55,104 martyrs and 127,394 wounded since October 7, 2023.
In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry reported that 123 martyrs (including 3 recovered bodies) and 474 wounded arrived at Gaza hospitals in the past 24 hours.
The ministry further clarified that 57 martyrs and over 363 wounded from aid distribution areas arrived at hospitals since this morning, bringing the total livelihood victims from these areas to 224 martyrs and over 1,858 wounded.
The ministry also noted that since March 18, 2025, the toll stands at 4,821 martyrs and 15,353 wounded, with many victims still under rubble and on streets inaccessible to rescue crews.
