Sana'a – Saba:
Districts across Sana'a governorate on Thursday witnessed a wide array of public events, meetings, evenings, popular festivals, and cultural seminars to commemorate the Day of Wilayah (Eid al-Ghadir).
Numerous sub-districts within Sa'afan, Bani Hushaish, Hamdan, Nihm, Sanhan, Bani Bahlol, Arhab, al-Haymah al-Kharijiyah, al-Tiyal, al-Hesn, Bani Matar, Bilad al-Rus, Manakhah, and New Sana'a districts held various cultural activities.
Speeches delivered at these events, attended by local and executive officials, emphasized the critical importance of adhering to the divine path of guardianship and renewing allegiance to Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib.
Speakers stressed the nation's need to overcome challenges and regain its status by renewing allegiance to God, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and "beacons of guidance."
The speakers asserted that allegiance, in the Quranic concept, ensures religious integrity and extends the divine message, making the commemoration an occasion to restore allegiance's prestige and fortify the nation against colonial plots.
They also highlighted Yemen's supportive stance towards Gaza against "global arrogance," attributing it to Yemen's return to God, His Messenger, and sincere allegiance to Imam Ali. The people of the governorate were called upon to actively participate in upcoming al-Ghadir festivals across the governorate's squares next Saturday.
