The management of Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, the sole comprehensive healthcare provider in southern Gaza, has categorically denied circulating news about its evacuation, stating such reports are completely untrue.
It affirmed that accessing and leaving the complex poses no danger, and all medical, nursing, and administrative staff are operating at full capacity, providing round-the-clock services.
The complex clarified that the temporary departure of the Doctors Without Borders (MSF) team was a short-term decision from their Paris headquarters, pending security improvement, and does not signify a permanent withdrawal.
Other international organizations, including Medical Relief Foundation for Palestinians (MAP), British Medical Association (UK-MED), and Doctors Without Borders - Spain (MSF Spain), continue to operate and provide uninterrupted medical services across various departments, including orthopedics and burns.
