Gaza – Saba:
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip has stated that the remaining operating hospitals are threatened with collapse of services, as they are besieged by stifling crises that make it impossible to continue providing health services.
In a press statement on Wednesday, the Ministry added that hospitals are experiencing severe overcrowding as the occupation continues to prevent the entry of life-saving medical supplies.
It explained that hundreds of patients and wounded are suffering from incomplete treatment due to the severe depletion of the remaining medical departments.
The Ministry indicated that the health situation in the northern Gaza Strip governorate is catastrophic after all hospitals were taken out of service.
It stated that emergency solutions and emergency interventions will be meaningless as health and humanitarian indicators deteriorate to levels and outcomes that are difficult to address.
The Ministry of Health renewed its urgent appeal to all concerned parties to intervene immediately to save the health system in the Gaza Strip and prevent its collapse.
