Hamas on Friday affirmed that the Zionist enemy authorities' closure of the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied al-Quds and Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron constitutes a dangerous provocation, a blatant assault on the sanctity of holy sites, and a pathetic attempt that will not lend any legitimacy to its attacks.
Hamas said in a statement, "We, in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), issue an urgent appeal to our Arab and Islamic nation, urging immediate action to protect the first of the two Qiblas and the third of the two Holy Mosques, and all Islamic and Christian holy sites in Palestine, from the Zionist enemy's plots to Judaize them and obliterate their religious and historical landmarks.
