Stockholm – Saba:
Swedish activist Greta Thunberg confirmed on Tuesday that what happened with the aid ship "Madeleine" constituted a violation of international rights.
She added: "Israel committed an illegal act by kidnapping the activists in international waters."
Greta said: "Israel kidnapped us in international waters," referring to the twelve activists who were among them on board the ship "Madeleine" to break the siege on Gaza and were detained by Zionist forces, according to the Iranian News Agency (IRNA).
After being deported from the occupied territories and arriving at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, Thunberg explained: "We were kidnapped in international waters and forcibly transferred to Israel." She stressed that the activists did not violate any laws in their efforts to break the Zionist blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip.
Grena denied Israeli allegations that the aid ship to Gaza was merely a propaganda stunt, stressing that the campaign would continue, calling for the immediate release of the activists still in Israel.
On Monday, Israeli entity naval forces stormed the humanitarian aid ship Madeleine, which had sailed toward the occupied territories to break the years-long naval blockade of the Gaza Strip, and detained its 12-member crew, including Thunberg.
