The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Tuesday that air defense forces repelled a drone attack in the Leningrad Region.

The region's governor said that the air alert in the region was raised after the attack was repelled.

The Defense Ministry stated that air defense forces destroyed 76 Ukrainian drones over the territory of six regions within two hours on Monday evening.

It stated: "From 21:50 to 23:55 Moscow time on June 9, operational air defense systems destroyed 76 Ukrainian drones."
