Gaza – Saba:
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, is no longer accessible.
In a press statement, the ministry reported that the Palestinian Red Crescent's Al-Amal Hospital has become unreachable due to the Zionist enemy's designation of the surrounding area as a dangerous combat zone and the forced evacuation of nearby residents. Many patients and medical staff remain inside, facing severe risks under the blockade and extremely complex security conditions.
The ministry further warned that obstruction of fuel supplies threatens to halt operations at all hospitals, as they rely on generators for vital departments. It noted that current fuel reserves in hospitals are sufficient for only three days. The ministry appealed to all relevant institutions and parties to ensure protection for hospitals and health facilities, and to provide safe access for patients, the injured, and essential medical supplies.
Marwan al-Hamas, director of field hospitals in Gaza, confirmed in televised statements that both Al-Amal and Nasser hospitals are unreachable due to attacks, but stated that medical staff would continue working despite "Zionist enemy orders" to evacuate. Al-Hamas also indicated that dozens of Palestinians are sheltering within the Nasser Medical Complex, cautioning that it too could soon cease functioning.
The statement concluded by noting the ongoing Zionist genocide in Gaza, with continuous targeting operations, dozens of martyrs and wounded, and the Strip on the verge of famine due to aid and patient access restrictions at crossings.
