The Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip confirmed that the number of its martyrs rose on Saturday to 116 since the beginning of the Zionist genocide on October 7, 2023.

In a statement, the Civil Defense mourned the martyrdom of First Lieutenant Walid Adel al-Batsh, one of its members, as a result of the Israeli enemy forces targeting his family's home east of the al-Tuffah area east of Gaza City. He is the 116th Civil Defense martyr.
