President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Saturday sent a cable of condolences on the death of Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed Nasser Arij al-Faqih. Sheikh Arij passed away after a life dedicated to serving the nation.
In his message to the deceased's family members, President al-Mashat lauded Sheikh Arij's virtues and contributions to his country and society. He also highlighted Sheikh Arij's firm stances in confronting the forces of aggression, tyranny, hegemony, and arrogance—America and Israel—and their proxies."
He expressed his deep sorrow to the deceased's sons, family, and the entire the family in Sahar al-Talh district of Sa'ada governorate. He prayed for God's vast mercy upon him, a place in His spacious gardens, and patience and solace for his family and relatives.
