Sanaa – Saba:
Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, extended his congratulations and blessings to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the Yemeni people, and the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
In a televised address marking the occasion, President Al-Mashat reaffirmed Yemen’s firm and principled stance in supporting the oppressed Palestinian people, especially in Gaza, reiterating the continuation of support operations and the enforcement of air and maritime blockades on the Zionist enemy until the aggression ends and the siege is lifted. He also called for an end to Zionist violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon.
President Al-Mashat warned Arab and Islamic countries of the grave consequences of their weak and complicit positions toward the Zionist entity, stressing that such stances would result in severe worldly harm and divine accountability.
He highlighted the suffering of people in the occupied governorates due to the deterioration of living conditions and the collapse of basic services, holding the occupation and its mercenaries responsible. He reaffirmed full solidarity with residents in those areas until national sovereignty and dignity are restored.
The President referred to efforts to reopen roads between governorates and facilitate the movement of citizens, noting that such initiatives were met with obstinacy from parties linked to foreign agendas.
He called on Yemeni elites—scholars, politicians, tribal leaders, social figures, and media professionals—to reinforce national unity by endorsing the Tribal Honor Charter and rejecting all forms of treason and collaboration with hostile foreign powers.
President Al-Mashat also expressed gratitude to the armed and security forces for their swift efforts in repairing the damage caused by American aggression, reaching a higher level of readiness than before.
He issued a clear message to international entities, urging constructive engagement with Yemen’s principled warnings, stressing that Yemen’s stance is serious and not for show.
He concluded by denouncing the United States’ support for the genocide in Gaza, describing it as blatant complicity in the aggression. He affirmed that Yemen will remain steadfast in confronting the occupation until justice is achieved.
