Gaza – Saba:
The Resistance Committees in Palestine mourned the martyrs of journalism, including media professionals and journalists, who were killed in a criminal Zionist attack on Thursday, targeting journalists in the courtyard of the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the committees said that the martyred journalists are: Samir Al-Rifai, who works for Shams News Agency; Suleiman Hajjaj, who works for Palestine Today Satellite Channel; and Ismail Badah, who works as a cameraman for Palestine Today Satellite Channel.
The committees emphasized that this heinous crime is an extension of fascist Zionist crimes against all our people, including children, women, journalists, and media professionals.
They considered the crime of targeting journalists in the Baptist Hospital a complex crime and a continuation of the Zionist aggression against the health system, an attack on a civilian hospital that provides services to the people and patients, and the targeting of journalists while they were working and covering the fascist crimes of the enemy.
The Resistance Committees stated that the Zionist crime of targeting Palestinian journalists at the Baptist Hospital is a natural result of the American veto and political cover, and the encouragement of all pillars of the US administration for the Zionist entity to commit further crimes and massacres.
The Resistance Committees called on all international press unions and organizations to take urgent action to stop the enemy's crimes against Palestinian journalists. They also called on all media agencies to boycott the Zionist entity and its criminal leaders, specifically Arab and Islamic satellite channels and press agencies.
