The Israeli army admitted on Friday that eight of its soldiers and officers were killed in the Gaza Strip over the past week.

Yedioth Ahronoth quoted the Israeli occupation army as saying, "Eight Israeli soldiers were killed in the past week alone in the Gaza Strip."

It is noteworthy that five enemy soldiers were killed and 12 others were injured today when the resistance blew up a building housing Israeli soldiers in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
