Israeli occupation forces carried out a wide-scale raid and search campaign in the Aktaba suburb east of Tulkarm city in Palestine on Wednesday evening targeting numerous homes and commercial shops.
The Palestinian News Agency Wafa reported that the occupation forces stormed 22 homes and 8 shops in various areas of the suburb specifically around the central roundabout the old neighborhood known as "Al-Mukhtar Quarter" and near the council vandalizing their contents detaining citizens checking their IDs and mobile phones and violently breaking into several empty homes by removing their doors for inspection.
The occupation forces closed the main street in front of Aktaba Taxi office since 5:30 pm Jerusalem time disrupting traffic flow and seized surveillance camera recordings from a pharmacy in the center of the suburb.
This campaign comes amid ongoing Zionist aggression and escalating tensions in Tulkarm city and its two refugee camps and suburbs including the demolition of more residential buildings in Nur Shams camp this morning provocative movements of military vehicles through city streets and neighborhoods and sudden military checkpoints set up at several locations obstructing the movement of citizens and their vehicles
