Gaza – Saba:
The head of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Gaza, Dr. Khalil al-Hayya, praised the Yemeni role in supporting Gaza.
He said, "We salute our honest brothers in Yemen who continue to direct their missiles against the Zionist enemy despite the treacherous Zionist targeting they are subjected to."
In a speech on Thursday evening, marking Eid al-Adha, he announced the movement's readiness to engage in a new and serious round of negotiations to reach a permanent ceasefire agreement, especially since contacts with mediators and others are still ongoing to achieve this goal.
He said that the movement is seeking "an agreement to release prisoners, and we have agreed to most of the proposals presented to us, but Netanyahu rejected them."
He emphasized, "We are making continuous efforts with all parties to reach an agreement that leads to a cessation of war and the withdrawal of the occupation from the entire Gaza Strip."
He said, "Two weeks ago, an American proposal was presented to us, but the enemy rejected it," adding, "Netanyahu announced that he would take the prisoners and then renew the aggression on Gaza."
He explained that the movement did not reject Witkoff's latest proposal, but rather offered some comments and improvements to it, in order to ensure an end to this war, prevent the enemy from returning to treachery, killing, invasion, and forced displacement, and ensure the dignified entry of aid and relief to our people. Dr. Khalil Al-Hayya said, "We are engaged in successive stages of intensive negotiations, and we are making continuous efforts with all parties to reach an agreement based on a strong position adhering to the basic rights and demands of our people, leading to an end to this war, a permanent ceasefire, and the withdrawal of the occupation forces from the entire Gaza Strip. This agreement also includes immediate relief for our people, an end to the blockade, and an honorable exchange deal."
He emphasized that Hamas is prepared to hand over the government in Gaza immediately to any agreed-upon national Palestinian body.
He condemned "countries' reliance on mere statements of condemnation in light of the ongoing crimes of the occupation."
He said, "The American veto in the Security Council against a draft resolution to stop the war in Gaza is reprehensible."
He explained that "Netanyahu is working to militarize humanitarian aid."
The head of the Hamas movement in Gaza said, "The enemy insists that humanitarian aid remain under its complete control, using the mechanism it designed to militarize aid, which has been rejected by all international institutions as a violation of international law. He also refuses to withdraw and return to the status quo ante." 2/3.
He emphasized that "conspiracies are being hatched against Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and all of Palestine," pointing to the suffering of "our people in the West Bank from the enemy's crimes and its settlement and Judaization projects." He emphasized that "the occupation seeks to uproot our people from their land and is practicing ethnic cleansing throughout Palestine."
He said, "The battle today is one of steadfastness and perseverance, and we must resist the occupation's plans by all means."
