Hodeidah – SABA:

The Traffic Department of Hodeidah Governorate announced today a traffic plan to ensure smooth traffic flow and the safety of citizens during the days of Eid al-Adha, as part of its efforts to manage traffic and reduce congestion.

Colonel Mohammed Al-Nuwaira, Director of the Traffic Department, explained that the plan includes increased deployment of traffic officers in public streets, prayer grounds, parks, and recreational areas to facilitate the movement of citizens and regulate vehicle flow in crowded areas to ease congestion and limit violations.

He pointed out that the plan involves the operation of foot and vehicle patrols in various streets and intersections to monitor traffic conditions and address any violations that may pose a threat to public safety. Officers will also be stationed at city entrances, exits, and around marketplaces.

Al-Nuwaira confirmed that administrative and technical operations will continue around the clock in the accident and operations departments to ensure a swift response to traffic incidents, assist citizens in emergencies, and maintain uninterrupted services.

He urged vehicle drivers to adhere to traffic rules and speed limits, and to cooperate with traffic officers in the field to ensure everyone’s safety and to help maintain a secure and orderly holiday atmosphere.
