Sana'a – Saba:

A five-day training course in financial oversight and inspection on Wednesday organized by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights' General Administration for Training and Qualification at the Ministry.

The course aimed to enhance the capabilities and skills of 20 trainees from the Ministry's headquarters, courts, and appeals divisions in Sana'a and the capital, in applying the latest methodologies for financial auditing and internal inspection.

At the conclusion, Deputy Minister of Justice and Human Rights Judge Ibrahim al-Shami underscored the importance of inspection and internal oversight in protecting rights and public funds.

He described attacks on public funds as an internal aggression, especially given Yemen's ongoing "criminal external aggression." He stressed the need for self-control in performing duties.

Judge Al-Shami highlighted the importance of adhering to financial oversight and inspection mechanisms and rules according to specific plans, emphasizing the Ministry's commitment to excellence and quality in this area.

He urged trainees to apply their new knowledge and skills in their work and praised the General Administration of Training and Qualification for its efforts in implementing the Ministry's training plans.

Judge Ahmed al-Kuhlani, Head of the Financial and Administrative Affairs Sector, emphasized the necessity of accuracy and quality in financial oversight and inspection due to its broad positive impact.

Trainer Talat al-Ariqi reviewed the course topics, focusing on the latest methodologies in financial audit and internal inspection, from planning through implementation and reporting, while emphasizing the standardization of forms, plans, working papers, and reports.
